Dolly Parton Announces New Album, Biggest Tour in 25 Years

Get ready, y’all, because Dolly Parton may be coming to a city near you!

In her biggest tour in more than 25 years, Parton will hit 60 major cities between the U.S. and Canada beginning later this year. She will bring her numerous hits out on the road and will perform new songs from her upcoming double-disc release, Pure & Simple. The two-disc set will feature new songs, as well as the Tennessee native’s classics.

“We’re so excited to get out there and see the fans again. I’m really looking forward to singing songs the fans have not heard in a while, as well as the hits, while debuting a few new ones off Pure & Simple,” Parton said.

Tour dates and a track listing for Pure & Simple will be announced soon.

In the meanwhile, Parton is gearing up to release her wildly successful TV movie, “Dolly Parton’s Coat of Many Colors,” on DVD May 3.
