‘Dolly Parton’s Coat Of Many Colors’ To Re-Air Christmas Day

After breaking records with its first airing of Dolly Parton’s Coat Of Many Colors, NBC has announced a re-air date for the heartwarming film.

The movie, which follows the life of a young Dolly Parton growing up in the Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee, will now re-air on Christmas Day, December 25, at 9/8c. The film stars Jennifer Nettles, Ricky Schroder, and Alyvia Alyn Lind.

13 million viewers tuned into Dolly Parton’s Coat Of Many Colors’ original airing on December 10. The film drew the biggest ratings for an original movie on television since 2011 and also brought in NBC’s biggest audience in the time period since the airing of The Sound of Music, starring Carrie Underwood, in 2013.

If you missed the original airing, be sure to tune on on Christmas Day.
