Drake White may be living the dream, but that doesn’t take away his time to give the dream right back into the community.

White is teaming up with the Ford Motor Company Fund in five cities across the U.S. in order to provide transportation for important philanthropy events throughout the areas. The project begins this month and extends throughout mid-August.

As an artist of Big Machine Label Group, White is no stranger to helping out those in need. Big Machine proudly partners with Outnumber Hunger and Feeding America to provide food to families who need a little help putting food on the table. No matter what the cause is, White enjoys being able to use his platform as a country artist to give back as much as he can.

“Even before I had a public voice, giving back to the community has always been very important to me,” said White recently. “Whether I’m helping one family in my hometown in Alabama raise money for their urgent needs or helping a community with cleanup efforts after a storm, now that I have this platform it is more important to me than ever.”

Partnering with Ford also allowed White to incorporate the volunteering as he prepares to go on tour with Zac Brown Band this summer. White will be able to travel around and help out thanks to the assistance of Ford’s historic notion of giving back.

“We are excited to join with Drake in fighting hunger, disaster relief, promoting safe driving and building stronger communities,” said Yisel Cabrera, community relations manager for Ford Motor Company Fund.

Drake will hit the road for his #LivintheDream By Giving the Dream journey on May 19 in Hartford, CT, as he takes the stage that same night to start the Black Out the Sun Tour this summer.
