Dustin Lynch may still call himself a ‘Small Town Boy,’ but he’s earning some big city attention with his latest single hitting the top slot on the charts.

Taking home the No. 1 position on the Country Aircheck and Mediabase Country Airplay charts, Lynch also stayed snug in his winning position on the Billboard Country Airplay list as well. The accomplishment marks new heights for Lynch as “Small Town Boy” is his fifth consecutive single to reach that point.

“This week has truly been one of the most amazing and humbling of my career. This album is incredibly personal, and for two singles to already hit #1 is just crazy,” said Lynch in a recent press release. “I can’t think of a better way to welcome CURRENT MOOD than with ‘Small Town Boy’ being in the top spot.”

“Small Town Boy” holds its own as the second single off his most recent record, Current Mood, with “Seein’ Red” as the first track to play on radio from the project. He smashes the sweet serenade whenever he plays it live as the opening act on Brad Paisley’s Weekend Warrior World Tour, which will run through the next couple months.

Rolling through on his success, Lynch will take time out of his daunting schedule to give back to those in need by hosting his very own Hurricane Harvey relief benefit in Dallas. All of the proceeds from the tickets sold will go right back into the American Red Cross fund, which aids out the victims who lost their homes and belongings in the devastating storms.

Lynch will soon embark on his headlining The Ride or Die Tour, which will feature guests such as Michael Ray, LANco and Ryan Hurd. The first date kicks off on November 3 in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Fans can find more details about Lynch’s tour on his website.
