Step aside, Granger Smith, because Earl Dibbles Jr. is taking the lead on this one! In a new music video featuring Smith’s rowdy alter ego, Dibbles shows some city slickers just what he thinks of them pushing their opinions of his rural living on him.

“I’m a survivor, you’re damn right I’m a fighter/ I’m a big buck skinnin’, trot line riggin Hank Jr disciple / So don’t you be offendin’, what grandaddy defended / This flag I’m wavin’ says I’m stayin’ free / Don’t Tread on Me,” Dibbles sings.

The clip follows two federal agents as they roll up to Dibbles country shack. Taking samples of cans, bullet shells and a guitar, the duo clean out the shack, only to celebrate with a bottle of champagne. Meanwhile, Dibbles is living his best country life out in the woods, cooking up some snake for dinner and enjoying a big handful of dip.

After encountering the agents celebrating their sweet at his backwoods home, Dibbles encourages the two to take aim at flying beer cans with his rifle, showing that they aren’t so different after all.

“Don’t Tread On Me” is the fifth song from Dibbles and is featured on Smith’s latest album, When The Good Guys Win. Previous favorites of Yee Yee Nation include “The Country Boy Song,” “Country Boy Love,” “City Boy Stuck” and “Merica.”

When The Good Boys Win, featuring “Don’t Tread On Me” with Earl Dibbles Jr., is out now.
