Eli Young Band Announces Drunk Last Night Tour

Eli Young Band - CountryMusicIsLove

Republic Nashville’s Eli Young Band is set to headline the Drunk Last Night Tour this fall/winter. The tour will feature special guest EMI’s Eric Paslay and select dates will also feature Warner Brother’s Josh Abbott Band (and other artists TBA).

After spending the summer touring the nation with Kenny Chesney, performing in football stadiums and arenas, EYB will hit the road once again as a headliner. Kicking off on October 3 in Kansas City and ending in mid December, the band will perform nearly 30 dates on the tour before the end of the year. The tour will make stops including New York City, Baltimore and Raleigh among others.

“The Chesney Tour was an incredible experience and a really good time! Now its time to go out and do what we do best once again,” said Mike Eli. “It’ll be nice to blow the dust off of some of the old stuff!”

The band hand-picked EMI’s Eric Paslay as their opener for the tour. Paslay co-wrote EYB’s most recent chart topper “Even If It Breaks Your Heart,” and was a recent GRAMMY nominee.
Paslay has penned several chart toppers in the last 18 months and is currently climbing the charts with his top 40 single “Friday Night.”

“Eric is a great guy to have out on the road and his music fits in perfectly with ours,” claims Jon Jones. “He has always found a way to win over crowds when we have had him out in the past, and it doesn’t hurt that he is one of the best songwriters in Nashville. It’s going to be a fun party!”

The band’s single “Drunk Last Night” from their forthcoming album is currently impacting radio stations nationwide and was most added the first week on the charts. The video for the song will be released to CMT and GAC within the month.
