In preparation for the 50th Annual CMA Awards airing tonight, even Ellen DeGeneres got in the country spirit by adding her hilarious touch to the Forever Country promos on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

Premiering the parody on her daytime television talk show, DeGeneres joked that CMA stood for “cowboys making albums” before introducing the promotional video.

Featuring CMA Awards co-hosts Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood, it shows the two singing harmonies over each other with the songs, “Take Me Home, Country Roads” and “I Will Always Love You.” That’s when DeGeneres chimes into the mix on the Dolly Parton classic, clad in Western wear and a bright red cowboy hat.

Singing comically off-pitch and out of key, DeGeneres does her best attempt at being as country as she can. She even got the memo from Paisley to bring her own instrument, so the talk show host kept her washboard and cowbell close to her to add that old-timey flair to the collaboration.

Paisley and Underwood were just two featured in the Forever Country promos for the CMA Awards this year, as well as duets between Little Big Town and Luke Bryan and Keith Urban and Miranda Lambert.

Check out the funny clip from The Ellen DeGeneres Show and be sure to tune in to the 50th Annual CMA Awards tonight at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
