A very special guest star is coming to an upcoming episode of ABC’s Nashville, but it’s probably not one you’d expect.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Sir Elton John is slated to appear as himself on the May 18 episode of the hit drama and will perform alongside Gunnar (Sam Palladio). The episode serves as the “penultimate episode of season four.”
In its four-season run, the show has welcomed a variety of special guests, including Brad Paisley, Chris Young, and Brantley Gilbert. Kelsea Ballerini and Thomas Rhett are also scheduled to appear as themselves on this season.
Nashville airs Wednesdays at 10/9c on ABC.
