If you keep up with modern country music, you’ve likely heard the vibey, romantic songs from singer Brett Young. The tall California crooner hit the Nashville scene hard with his self-titled debut, garnering four consecutive No.1 singles. His latest, “Mercy,” has earned a second week atop the Billboard Country Airplay chart.
“We knew pretty early that ‘Mercy’ had to be a single because of the way the fans respond when I played it live,” said Young. “I wrote this song from a really vulnerable and honest place, so to see it go No. 1 is really special.”
In addition to his chart success, Young earned praise from the country music industry, earning an ACM Award for New Male Vocalist of the Year and opening slots on some of the biggest tours of the year, including Thomas Rhett’s “Life Changes Tour.”
To celebrate Brett Young’s huge year, Sounds Like Nashville has your chance to win his self-titled debut album on both CD and vinyl. Two lucky winners will be chosen at random. To enter, use the form below. Good luck!
