In this week’s installment of Eric Paslay’s Music Row Takeover, the country singer explains the big changes going on down Music Row in building and construction.

While Nashville is rapidly growing more and more as a city, the construction of new housing has completely changed the look of what Music Row used to be. As Paslay points out during his drive around the streets, the old-fashioned houses of yesterday are being torn down and converted into larger-than-life condos to house all of the residents moving to Music City.

“Music Row is changing,” Paslay explains in the video. “Used to…all these were mansions and record labels and publishing companies were in them and they’ve gradually either turned into bigger buildings for the labels.”

Paslay goes on to say that even though the change is happening and it is inevitable with the growth of the metropolis area, he’s still written in many of the houses on Music Row and loves the companies that hold their ground in that part of town.

Watch to see what other fun facts Paslay knows about the changes happening to Music Row and who used to work outside of the brand new buildings back when they were quaint little houses for the studios in this week’s video. Paslay is currently promoting his single, “Angels in this Town,” which is playing on country radio now.
