Talk about a full circle moment! Actor Eric Stonestreet is well known for his role as Cameron Tucker on the ABC mockumentary sitcom Modern Family, but little did fans know that he’s been a part of the entertainment industry for a long time.

In a gallery of photos posted to Instagram, Stonestreet shared that he once worked security for country icon Garth Brooks and was recently able to reconnect with the singer during his July 28 concert in Los Angeles.

“In 1995 I worked security for A (ONE) Garth Brooks concert in Manhattan Ks,” wrote Stonestreet. “Last night I finally got to say you’re welcome for keeping him safe that night and basically giving him the wonderful career he’s had thus far. Thank you Garth for the amazing night I had with my #crew slash #squad ❤️#circles”

The photos included a young Stonestreet keeping an eye on fans as Brooks reached over his head to shake their hands. Another signed photo shows the actor front in center with Brooks writing “Here’s to the Circles,” likely an ode to the full circle moment. The two also met backstage to take a more updated photo for Stonestreet’s collection.

Saturday night’s show was increasingly special for Brooks, who not only reconnected with Stonestreet, but also celebrated his daughter Allie’s 21st birthday with a “Happy Birthday” serenade from the audience, as well as Allie’s engagement as her boyfriend dropped to one knee to ask for her hand in marriage backstage that same night.
