In an exclusive video with Sounds Like Nashville, Dan + Shay took a little field trip to Walgreens in Nashville to pick up a few essentials needed to survive such a wild and crazy festival such as CMA Fest on June 9-12. While the duo grabbed most of the typical festival necessities, they also dropped some rather odd items in the cart here and there. (Because we all need a toy sword to fight off the mad foot traffic to get to each stage, right?)
While shopping, the guys put together two of the best things to come out of any CMA Fest experience: true love and drinking. Shay even was rooting for the fans at the Fest to find love as he threw in some essentials for concert-goers to remember in their search for romance.
“We got Carmex. Gotta keep that in there and keep your lips hydrated. You never know who you may meet. You know what I mean,” joked Shay.
On the drinking end, it was no shock that they picked up an unknown amount of cases of Bud Light as well as quite the stash of Pedialyte to fight off the woes of bottle flu.
The duo also poked some lighthearted jabs at fellow CMA Fest performer, Sam Hunt, when they picked up a couple small weights to throw on the bus and “stay ripped,” as Shay said.
