It’s the performance we’ve all been waiting for. After days of anticipation, the final National Anthem performance held within Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena during the 2017 Stanley Cup Finals was sung by Faith Hill.

The Mississippi native will act as the Nashville Predators’ seventh (wo)man when she steps out into the rink to sing the Star-Spangled Banner. At the conclusion of her performance, the Preds will take over the ice to go head-to-head against the Pittsburgh Penguins, who currently lead the series 3-2.

Hill teased the news of her performance when she posted a photo of her personalized jersey on Twitter. Quickly after, her proud hubby Tim McGraw shared the post on his own account.

Hill’s performance is preceded by a long list of A-list acts that have given the Nashville home games an added excitement factor. Carrie UnderwoodLuke Bryan, Little Big Town, Lady Antebellum, Vince GillKeith Urban, Kelly ClarksonTrisha Yearwood, Martina McBride and Dierks Bentley are among the acts that have taken to center ice for the memorable moments.

Hill and McGraw are currently out on the road for their joint Soul2Soul Tour. The cross-country trek resumes June 15 in the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, MI. The couple recently released a steamy music video for their collaborative single, “Speak To A Girl.”
