Two country superstars who were noticeably missing from the 50th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards Sunday evening were power couple Faith Hill and Tim McGraw. Instead of partying it up in Dallas with the rest of the country music community, Hill and McGraw made their way to New York to attend the premiere of Faith’s new movie, Dixieland.

The “This Kiss” singer plays the role of Arletta in the film, which is described as an indie crime drama by Deadline.com. Also starring in Dixieland is Riley Keough, who happens to be the granddaughter of the late Elvis Presley, as well as singer-songwriter Steve Earle and RJ Mitte from Breaking Bad.

This marks Hill’s second big screen appearance, following 2004’s The Stepford Wives, where she starred alongside Nicole Kidman.
