Florida Georgia Dishes On New Album On ‘The Talk’

Florida Georgia Line spent time getting in touch with their roots when it came to working on their upcoming album, Dig Your Roots.

The duo, who just released their latest single H.O.L.Y., got as close to nature as one could by writing and recording the music in Brian Kelleys treehouse (which was built in an episode ofAnimal Planet’sTreehouse Masters!).

We have a treehouse, my wife and I, in Nashville, said Kelley during an appearance on CBS The Talk. Tyler and I have been writing in there and recording this whole album. Its really cool. Its really unique. The cool thing about that is you can get outside of music row, outside of Nashville. Got a whole bunch of windows. You got natures and deer, turkeys, every kind of insect, anything you can imagine out there. Anything goes out in the treehouse.

The duo also dishedto The Talks hosts about the love song and why they think its what the world needed to hear from them. Check FGL’s full interview inthe video above.

H.O.L.Y. is the lead single from the duos upcoming Dig Your Roots album, due sometime in the fall. Florida Georgia Line will soon embark on their Dig Your Roots Tour, with special guests Kane Brown, The Cadillac Three and Cole Swindell.
