“It’s been nothing but good vibes to see it take off and inspire. Its message is a positive one and why I think it’s connecting with those who hear it," Brian Kelley said.

Florida Georgia Line hit the best place on the country countdown for their work with Bebe Rexha, and the moment was certainly ‘Meant to Be’ in their careers.

With hundreds of millions of streams online and the song constantly playing through the radio speakers, it’s no wonder that the duo and their special pop guest earned their way to the No. 1 position on Country Aircheck and Mediabase lists. What started as a serendipitous collaboration blending the worlds of pop and country wound up becoming a milestone in both FGL and Rexha’s careers.

“From day one, this song was just meant to be,” Tyler Hubbard said in a press release. “Bebe jumped in on a canceled writing session last minute and now it’s going down in history.”

The song became one of the biggest hits within the past few months, and FGL member Brian Kelley attributed that support thanks to the uplifting vibe that the track gives off.

“It’s been nothing but good vibes to see it take off and inspire. Its message is a positive one and why I think it’s connecting with those who hear it. We can’t thank Country radio enough for all of the support,” Kelley concurred.

Florida Georgia Line has previously notched top-charting singles with tracks like “Cruise,” “Dirt,” “H.O.L.Y.” and more. The guys have also hit the top spot on album charts for their past releases like Anything Goes and Dig Your Roots.

“Meant to Be” continues to play on both country and Top 40 radio at this time.
