Florida Georgia Line, Maren Morris Earn Nominations for 2018 Teen Choice Awards
Within the overall Choice Country Artist category, the competition looks stiff between nominees like Morris, Kelsea Ballerini, Kane Brown, Blake Shelton, Carrie Underwood and Thomas Rhett.
Every year, the Teen Choice Awards highlights the best of the best in entertainment and lets the younger generation take their pick on who outshined the rest during their ceremony.
Country music was not out of the running as the genre showed up strong in its own category, as well as within a few collective groups outside the typical realm. Florida Georgia Line snagged a couple honors within the Choice Music Group and Choice Collaboration sections respectively, while Maren Morris also found herself among the stars in the Choice Collaboration and Choice Country Artist areas.
Within the overall Choice Country Artist category, the competition looks stiff between nominees like Morris, Kelsea Ballerini, Kane Brown, Blake Shelton, Carrie Underwood and Thomas Rhett.
Another highlighted section of the Teen Choice Awards nominations lied within the television portion, when The Voice received a nod for Choice Reality TV Show among other programs such as Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Lip Sync Battle, Masterchef Junior, The Four: Battle for Stardom and Total Divas.
