Florida Georgia Line Claims 2017 Duo Video of the Year at 2017 CMT Awards

It was Florida Georgia Line’s for the taking as the country duo claimed the honor of the 2017 Duo Video of the Year.

It was Florida Georgia Line’s for the taking as the country duo claimed the honor of the Duo Video of the Year at the 2017 CMT Music Awards.

The pair called up video director TK McKamy to the stage to celebrate their big win with them.

“This guy takes our vision, takes it to the next level, creates a video that literally captures and brings to life our music and that is so special,” Tyler Hubbard said of McKamy. “I want to thank the Lord as always…and the I got to brag and we’re about to release our music video for Smooth, my brother BK got to co-direct it with TK and I’m really proud of it and it’s gonna be the next video of the year.”

The pair has recently kicked off their 2017 Smooth tour in Austin, which will hit cities across the country throughout the year.

Other videos up for the award in the Duo Video of the Year category included Big & Rich featuring Tim McGraw with “Lovin’ Lately,” Brothers Osborne with “21 Summer,” Dan + Shay with “How Not To,” and LoCash with “I Know Somebody.”
