Florida Georgia Line Assures Fans New Music Is Worth The Wait

It has been nearly a year and a half since Florida Georgia Line released their sophomore album Anything Goes and fans are eagerly awaiting new music.

With a new tour about to kick off, FGL’s Brian Kelley assures fans that it’s on the way, slowly but surely.

“It’s still coming together. It’s a little over halfway done,” Kelley told The Boot. “We’ve really taken our time with it, as much as it seems we haven’t. We’ve really gotten to live with these songs.”

“We’re really putting in the time, making sure our songs stand out, that they’re gonna cut through the radio, that they’re gonna really leave an effect, positively, on our fans,” the Florida native added. “Whether that makes them want to work hard, call their dad to tell them they love them, kiss their wife or whatever it may be.”

While there’s no word on when the album will drop, or even what the first single may be, Kelley is sure that it’s worth the wait.  “I think this album is going to be our deepest album,” Kelley explained. “It’s gonna be our strongest, and we’re pushing ourselves on all levels: vocally, lyrically, melodically. I promise the fans, the wait is worth it.”

Fans may be getting a taste of new Florida Georgia Line music during their Dig Your Roots Tour, with special guests Cole SwindellThe Cadillac Three and Kane Brown.. The tour kicks off in March.
