The guys of Florida Georgia Line know how to have a good time and brought the red solo cup vibe to a round of “Musical Beers” on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday night (Aug. 24).

Stopping by the popular late night talk show to promote their anticipated upcoming album, Dig Your Roots, Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley explored their competitive sides as they battled against Fallon and guests Aaron Paul and Tig Notaro. Just as the concept of musical chairs works, all celebrity contestants gathered around a table in hopes of grabbing an open cup before all were taken.

Surprisingly enough, Fallon was the first one out and took his sorrows over losing to the DJ booth to watch FGL, Paul and Notaro duke it out. Although Kelley formed his own strategy, he faced the chopping block next after getting the beer swiped from him by a swift move by Paul.

In the next round though, hopes were high as Hubbard used his own way of thinking to move the cup to his advantage. Fallon even pointed out his genius trick as it wasn’t against any rules set out from the beginning. Unfortunately, Hubbard’s sneaky ways got the best of him and he was duped out of snagging a spare cup. Notaro was the ultimate winner despite Paul’s aggressive leap across the table to try and steal the final beer.

The country duo followed up the friendly competition with a performance of their hit single, “H.O.L.Y.” Their album, Dig Your Roots, will be released on Friday, August 26, to digital music retailers and stores alike.
