Garth Brooks and 14,000 Fans Sing ‘Happy Birthday’ to Justin Timberlake

Ever wonder what 14,000 people singing “Happy Birthday” to you feels like? Well, superstar Justin Timberlake doesn’t have to think about that anymore.

The former boy-bander turned 35 on Jan. 31 and he got a birthday singalong from Garth Brooks from his tour stop at  Baltimore’s Royal Farms Arena.

“I got a buddy, and his birthday is today. So, I hate this guy because he always looks like he’s 18,” Brooks said jokingly. “I hate this guy because he’s got more talent in his pinky than [I do in] my whole body, I hate this guy because my wife’s in love with him, but I love this kid. He’s a kid named Justin Timberlake!”

He then requested that they sing “Happy Birthday” to Timberlake, to which the crowd happily obliged.

Timberlake was clearly moved by the video message, posting to Facebook, “Dude!!!! Stop it! This is THE COOLEST THING EVER! Thanks, Mr. Brooks and B-More!!!”

The two seem to have gotten close after Brooks came out and surprised fans at Timberlake’s 20/20 Experience World Tour stop in Nashville in November 2014.
