Garth Brooks Invites Honeymooning Couple to Come Over for Dinner

When Garth Brooks extends the open invitation to come over for a proper homecooked meal at his house, you definitely don’t turn it down!

One Swedish fan worked up the courage to ask a question via social media in regards to some of the best vacation areas to see while visiting America. After gushing about the kindness and energy Brooks puts forth into his shows as well as asking about future international tour dates, the woman flatly asked the country star some of the best locations to check out during a massive American road trip.

“My husband and I are going on a honeymoon part one,” the fan explained. “It’s going to be a road trip from Texas to Florida. And what shouldn’t we miss along that route?”

Instead of just making a simple list and sending it to the fan, Brooks reached out during his weekly Facebook show to offer an alternative answer to the inquiry: the opportunity to come over and hang out in Nashville with the star.

“I’m gonna get my butt kicked by my wife for this one,” said Brooks in response to the fan question. “What would you think about you and your husband — why don’t you make a stop in Nashville and why don’t you come to our house and have dinner with me and Ms. Yearwood?”

Obviously, Brooks must ask the Mrs. what her take on the situation is, but the Swedish couple will be making their way somehow to Nashville since the lucky fan tweeted her happy acceptance in hopes to make her dream come true.

“What. A. Day. @garthbrooks you made my day and my husbands for that matter. He was the one who introduced me to your music. We are grateful and humble. And thank you to all the fans for the congratulations and love. Best community ever. #countrymusic #loveoneanother,” she wrote sweetly.

At the moment, Brooks is keeping quite hush-hush about his upcoming schedule. Although he has a couple dates planned for the spring, including one night at Stagecoach in California, the singer hasn’t alluded to what’s next on his plate.
