Gwen Stefani Thanks Blake Shelton for ‘Kissing Her Back to Life’
Shelton and Stefani met as coaches on the hit reality singing competition show, The Voice, but weren’t romantically linked until about a year ago after their very publicized divorces.
From the start, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani have been supporting each other in both music and their romantic relationship. But it was only when Stefani was accepting an award at the annual Glamour Awards event recently did she define the relationship so simply yet sweetly.
Taking home the trophy for Glamour Woman of the Year, the pop singer expressed her love and thanks to many people who contributed to her success over the years before highlighting on her personal life. After briefly discussing how hard it was on her and her kids during her divorce from music artist Gavin Rossdale, Stefani got even more candid about her devotion to her music and the love she has towards her country beau.
“To Blake Shelton for kissing me back to life, thank you so much,” Stefani said to the Glamour event crowd. “I am blown away, I’m blown away by this room of unbelievable courage. It’s unbelievable to be here tonight. I am really, really grateful.”
