Gwen Stefani To Mentor Blake Shelton’s Team On Upcoming Season Of ‘The Voice’

In what we’re sure is going to be very shocking news to the world, Blake Shelton has chosen his girlfriend Gwen Stefani to help mentor Team Blake on Season 10 of NBC’s hit The Voice, Us Weekly reports.

Stefani will not serve as a coach for the upcoming season as Christina Aguilera is set to return alongside Adam Levine and Pharrell.

Shelton has been rallying to keep Stefani on The Voice after the conclusion of season nine. “I don’t want Gwen to not be on the show. Why can’t we have a fifth coach?” he told Extra.

The Oklahoma native and Stefani have been dating since November when a rep for the No Doubt front woman confirmed the news. They recently attended the wedding of Amanda Craig, Shelton’s hairstylist, together.

Season 10 of The Voice premieres in February.
