Hayden Panettiere Reveals She’s Expecting a Girl

Will Hayden Panettiere and fiancé Wladimir Klitschko being seeing pink or blue in the near future?

On the red carpet at last night’s Primetime Emmy Awards, the actress revealed that she’s expecting a baby girl! The “Nashville” star slipped in the baby’s gender while speaking to E!’s Giuliana Rancic. “I can’t wait for her to come out,” she said, causing the host to ask, “It’s a girl?!”

“Yes, it’s a little girl. I have to shop,” Panettiere revealed. “I want to go shopping, I want to paint the room … I’m working with my amazing interior decorator, Ben Vandiver, who did my house in Nashville. He’s trying to do something that she can grow up in and you don’t have to change everything.”

When it comes to names though, Hayden says they’re still working on it. “We have to make sure that it is American and Ukrainian all at the same time,” she says. “We’re still working on it but we have some options.”

The little girl is the first child for Panettiere and Klitschko, who announced the pregnancy back in May. The couple got engaged in 2013, after dating on and off since 2009.

Her pregnancy will also play into her character, Juliette Barnes, on ABC’s hit show “Nashville.”
