Early this morning in the midst of New York City’s hustle and bustle, rising country duo High Valley prepared for a televised performance of their breakout hit “Make You Mine” during Hoda & Kathie Lee’s hour of NBC’s TODAY.

“‘Make You Mine’ is like the song that summarizes what we grew up doing… really simple, straight-up-ahead country music,” Brad told Sounds Like Nashville previously. “Our favorite is when people comment on how old school it sounds or how progressive it sounds, but the best is when they say that it’s both at the same time.”

The duo also shared their excitement of being on set for the nationally-syndicated show by posting behind-the-scenes photos on Instagram of their time backstage. While mixing and mingling, the brothers met Saturday Night Live alum Fred Armisen and This Is Us star Justin Hartley, creating very special “pinch me” moments for the brothers.

“Make You Mine” is the lead single from the duo’s major label debut album, Dear Life.
