Less than two weeks ago, Lady Antebellums Hillary Scott finally revealed the secret project she’s been working on over the past year a faith-based album, entitled Love Remains.

The record, which has no release date yet, features the song Thy Will, which is a very personal song to Scott.

This is about a really recent thing that I went through. I think theres just times in our life where we ask why is this happening, she told Sounds Like Nashville and other media at a press event. In the middle of really great things, terrible things can happen and its how to find a way to not lose your ground and thats what this song is for me. Thats what my faith is. Just how I stay steady.

The record features not only Hillary, but also her family:dad Lang Scott, mom Linda Davis and sister Rylee. It was her dad, however, who inspired the start of the project.

My dad had sat me down right at the beginning of last year to talk about something that he felt in his heart that he wanted to do, which was make a collection of songs to send out to some really dear friends and family of hymns that he just loved, she explained. It was all around my grandfathers diagnosis, battle from cancer.
