"It has really grown and far surpassed any of our expectations and that has been too many blessings to count,” Hillary says of Love Remains.

Hillary Scott & the Scott Family are putting their faith on the forefront with the release of their new album, Love Remains. The 13-song album began as an idea to give back to family and friends who supported the Scott Family in their time of grief following the death of Hillary’s beloved grandfather.

“It was going to be a collection of hymns that my family and I sang together,” Scott told Sounds Like Nashville in a recent interview. “It was just going to be a gift to a big group of people who walked us through my grandfather’s battle with leukemia. This is something that God put in my heart to do and my dad and my family’s heart. It has really grown and far surpassed any of our expectations and that has been too many blessings to count.”

The album was led by the heart-stopping lead single, “Thy Will,” a song Scott co-wrote after suffering a devastating miscarriage last fall.

“I can say it’s like double digits every day of just comments or tweets or Facebook messages and to see that a song that God put in my heart, that I was a part of writing, be a place of comfort for people in some of their most dark times, struggle, I’m very honored,” she expressed.

One of the most important parts of the project, aside from healing after experiencing such a tragedy, was the ability to spend so much time with her family after many years out on the road with Lady Antebellum.

“Being able to grow as a family, to grieve together, to laugh, to cry, and now with the song being out, the connection with people all over world who have been touched by it, my heart is overflowing,” Scott shared.
