“Gwen and Blake are longtime friends who have very recently started dating,” Stefani’s rep confirmed to Us Weekly yesterday (Nov. 4), just hours before the 49th Annual CMA Awards took place in Nashville.
The whispers of their romance have been swirling for months and recently picked up when the No Doubt singer played coy during an interview with On Air with Ryan Seacreast. When asked about Shelton, she responded “I do think he’s hot, don’t you?”
The new couple was likely brought together following their recent divorces. Shelton announced his divorce from Miranda Lambert over the summer after four years of marriage. Stefani also split from Gavin Rossdale, her husband of 13 years, this summer.
Neither Shelton or Stefani has spoken out about their romance, but they were spotted holding hands at a CMA Awards after-party in Nashville last night.
