Jake Owen Adds New Addition to the Family
“Pearl and I picked up our new addition to the family today," Owen shared with fans, along with a cute snap of their new pup.
Well, it looks like Pearl is going to have to get used to being a big sister.
Jake Owen and his daughter adopted a new member into their family: a 3-month-old German shepherd pup. The cute dog came home with the country star over the weekend to join the crew on all of their Nashville adventures. As a dog lover himself, Owen seemed thrilled about the news and wanted his fans’ opinions on what the perfect name should be.
“Pearl and I picked up our new addition to the family today. A beautiful 3mos old German Shepherd. Still working on a good name… any suggestions,” he captioned the adorable family photo on Instagram.
The German Shepherd puppy will also be tagging along with Owen’s other four-legged friends, Merle the English bulldog, and Thurman, the bull mastiff. While Pearl will still remain the apple of Owen’s eye, his dog crew will definitely add some fun (and a lot of fur) to the mix.
