Jake Owen Gets Candid in Facebook Chat
"Real Life" singer Jake Owen got realy with fans last night with a chat on his Facebook page.
It’s been awhile since we’ve heard from Jake Owen, but last night, the “Real Life” singer decided to get real in a chat on Facebook.
At around 10:00 pm, Owen posted that he’d take some time to answer fan questions and was very candid about the current state of his personal life.
A fan asked what the most meaningful thing he wants to accomplish this year and his answer went straight to his daughter, Pearl. “Seeing my daughter as much as I can. Single Dad life is rough,” he wrote.
Owen is clearly dedicated to his sweet girl as he continued to answer questions about her. He even shared an adorable picture of her. “Everyday… And snuggling this right now,” he said with a snap of a sleeping Pearl when asked what the best part of being a dad was.
When not talking about his daughter, Owen also answered questions about new music, revealing that fans can expect a new single in March.
The Florida native and his wife divorced back in August 2015 after tying the knot in May of 2012. They welcomed Pearl, their only child together, in November that same year.
