Jake Owen kept the vibes of summer alive as he played his hit single, “American Country Love Song,” on the outdoor stage at Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Wednesday night (9/21).

Looking cooler than ever in an all-black ensemble, Owen rocked the crowd with his acoustic guitar and backing band behind him and amped up the Hollywood streets with his performance. Bringing his energetic show to the Los Angeles avenues, the country singer’s vocals sounded just on point throughout the entire song while keeping a smile on his face the entire time.

Owen tweeted about his performance on the late night talk show before the clip aired to get his fans at home pumped about his visit out west.

“Great time with this guy. Tune in tonight on @ABCNetwork. @jimmykimmel, thanks buddy. #KIMMEL,” he wrote, posting a couple pictures of his time at the show as well.

“American Country Love Song” earned Owen his sixth No. 1 spot atop the Billboard Country Radio Charts and is featured on his latest album, American Love. The record found as much success as his first single off the project by debuting at the No. 1 place on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart a few months ago.

Owen just recently announced that the follow-up single to “American Country Love Song” will be his track, “If He Ain’t Gonna Love You,” which was written by Chris Stapleton, Luke Laird and Shane McAnally.
