It was girl squad goals on stage at the Jamie Lynn Spears Sleepover Fan Party on Thursday (6/9) at the Listening Room in Nashville.

Accompanying Spears during her fun-filled sleepover were fellow artists Alyssa Micaela and Jessie James Decker as well as songwriter Liz Rose. Each lady, dressed in their pajama best, sang one of their own tunes with the rest of the women as background vocals.

Micaela sang her current single, “Getaway Car,” and Spears debuted an acoustic version of her new song, “Sleepover.” Decker brought her own special guest up for a duet of “Lights Down Low” – her daughter, who ate up all the attention from the audience. Making the cut for the four-part harmony, Rose and the girls sang Little Big Town’s “Girl Crush,” which Rose co-wrote with Hillary Lindsay and Lori McKenna.

Between songs, the women all answered some questions about their music, their careers and how they each are connected together in country music. Following the show, fans got the chance to meet Spears and take a picture together just like the sweet snaps anyone takes with their pals at a sleepover.

The party, happening during CMA Fest, was in anticipation of the release of “Sleepover,” which is the lead single off Spears’ new project. Inspired by a girls’ trip out and about, Spears thought the song was a perfect way to introduce fans to her new music.

“The song came from a girl’s writing retreat, where it was a bunch of us female writers went down to the beach and it really set the tone for the new music that I’m creating. It really gave me an idea of what I wanted to say and what I wanted the theme of the new music to be,” she told Sounds Like Nashville.

Spears will also star in a one-hour special, Jamie Lynn Spears: When The Lights Go Out, on TLC on Sunday, June 26 at 10/9c.
