Jamie Lynn Spears’ Daughter Maddie Celebrates Birthday With ATV Accident First Responders
Spears invited the paramedics as special guests to Maddie's LSU-themed birthday bash to thank them for the brave efforts they devoted themselves to during the February accident.
Jamie Lynn Spears hugged her daughter a little tighter this year on her birthday after the horrific ATV accident that took place just a few short months ago.
Maddie turned nine and threw a big birthday bash for all of her closest friends, but honored her home state of Louisiana with a full-blown LSU extravaganza. With yellow and purple décor to match the college’s colors and number nine balloons blown up all around the yard, Maddie and her friends were treated to a gorgeous summer afternoon with a couple special guests in tow.
The party marked the first major celebration after Maddie was involved in a devastating ATV accident back in February. During the incident, the little girl was submerged underwater for several minutes while strapped in the vehicle. After failed attempts by her mother and stepfather Jamie Watson, along with others, to rescue the little girl, two first responders helped free the child and rush her to the hospital. Thankful for their efforts just four months after the incident, Spears expressed her gratitude toward the paramedics who allowed Maddie to celebrate another birthday.
“My baby is 9 years old today, and more then ever we realize how precious every day is. So, we have to thank these 2 HEROS 🙏🏻 John and Victoria are the first responders, who literally saved Maddie’s life, and they were able to celebrate her another year of her life with us this past weekend! Thank God for these amazing people, and thank you God for your amazing grace. We are so blessed today, and everyday with this little angel! HAPPY BIRTHDAY MADDIE💛💜,” Spears wrote in an emotional Instagram post.
Although she spent five days recovering at a nearby hospital, Maddie’s life was changed thanks to the two on call and they were honored alongside the birthday girl at her poolside bash.
