Keeping the tempo at an all-time high this week, Jana Kramer and dance partner Gleb Savchenko jived their way around the stage on Dancing with the Stars on Monday night (Sept. 26).

Dressed in coordinated pink-and-white jazzy ensembles, the two performed a cheeky little number that screamed the fun of the 50s all over again. With Kramer playfully portraying the role of an innocent girl denying a flirty boy’s moves, she and Savchenko brought all the high energy they could throughout every twist and turn while busting their moves out to Bette Midler’s “Too Many Fish in the Sea.”

Highlights throughout the performance included Kramer’s bopping footwork, which connected each eight-count with a peppy flare, and their half-pretzel twist handwork during the middle of the routine that amped up their jive game.

Competing in a dance-off for the week against fellow contestant Babyface, Kramer and Savchenko earned a total of 26 out of 40 points, and earned immunity by a mere one point to move on to the next week of the show.

Kramer had previously said how nervous she was about this week’s performance due to their lack of rehearsal time between traveling and other commitments. Sharing a video chronicling their airport practice times, Kramer dedicated as much time as she could to learning the steps while anxiously awaiting delayed flight times and lengthy layovers.

“It has been an insane week of travel. Cancelled flights. Long layovers. And lots of airport rehearsal. @glebsavchenkoofficial and I can’t wait to show you how it has turned out tomorrow night on @dancingabc #dwts,” she wrote to her fans.

The elimination for week three of Dancing with the Stars airs tonight (9/27) at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
