Jana Kramer Shares Preview of Her New Movie, ‘Christmas in Mississippi’

The holiday season is officially here, and Jana Kramer plans to celebrate in style by starring in a brand new made-for-television film called Christmas in Mississippi.

Kramer stars as photographer Holly Logan, who returns back to her tiny town in Mississippi for the holidays to help rejuvenate their annual lights show. After the city suffered devastating damage during a hurricane five years prior, Kramer and her fellow citizens work together to bring the magic back to life, but there’s a catch: she has to work alongside her former high school sweetheart.

After spending quality time with one another for days working on the event, Holly and her ex-boyfriend start to fall in love all over again as she also finds a soft spot in her heart for the place that raised her. The country singer shared a clip of the upcoming film with her fans on Instagram, expressing her excitement over her latest acting project.

“My movie trailer!!!!! It’s December!!!! Which means my @lifetimetv movie premiers this month! December 9th. 8/7c. Hope you love it as much as I do,” Kramer captioned the sneak peek video.

Over the past year, Kramer has been working more on the acting side of her career while taking care of her precious little daughter and working on her relationship with husband Michael Caussin.

Christmas in Mississippi premieres Saturday, December 9, at 8 p.m. EST on Lifetime.
