Jason Aldean Triumphs as ACM Entertainer of the Year

The night is young for Jason Aldean as the celebrations will now commence after winning the unprecedented prize for the Entertainer of the Year at the 53rd Annual ACM Awards.

Aldean kissed his gorgeous wife, Brittany, and gave Luke Bryan a sweet embrace before embarking upon the stage to give gratitude to his industry team. He also recognized the significance of accepting an award back right where the tragedy of the Route 91 massacre took place.

“My three good luck charms at home–Keely, Kendyl and Memphis. I love you guys. It’s been a rough year and I just wanna say thanks to everybody that reached out to us and showed us love and support over the last six months. It meant the world to us. To my Route 91 people, you guys are in my heart always and we love Las Vegas. Vegas strong, baby,” Aldean emotionally told the crowd.

Aldean accomplished many incredible feats over the past year, including his rocking tour schedule, as well as the release of a brand new album just this weekend and a couple huge hits on country radio including “You Make It Easy” and “They Don’t Know.”

It wasn’t an easy battle to take home the coveted title for Entertainer as Aldean beat out stiff competition against nominees such as Garth Brooks, Luke Bryan, Chris Stapleton and Keith Urban.

The 53rd Annual ACM Awards were hosted by Reba, and aired live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
