Jason Aldean and Wife Announce They Are Extending the Family

Jason Aldean and his wife, Brittany Layne, have a huge announcement following the hint that they were trying very hard to start a family together: the Aldean family is growing!

“We can finally tell you, it’s happening,” Aldean says in a short clip posted to Instagram. “We’re extending the family.”

But this time, it’s not a child. They took home a grey French bulldog and extended their canine group one more. With the name of Boss, it looks like that little guy is going to grow up to be a powerhouse among the others running around the Aldean household.

Just a few days ago, Aldean and Layne got candid in a special YouTube Q & A on Layne’s page, in which they admitted to their fans that they are trying for a baby. While the dog isn’t exactly what fans may have thought they meant originally, it still adds one more member into the mix.

Aldean and his wife aren’t strangers to dogs though, as they already take care of Bentley, who is one big fella as a hefty English bulldog. Hopefully, Boss and Bentley will become best of friends as new Aldean brothers.

The country star will head out on the road come April 27 when his They Don’t Know Tour kicks off for the summer. Fans can find ticket information and tour dates on his website.
