Jason Aldean is starting his work week off with a bang: he announced the title and release date for his upcoming album and locked in his 17th No. 1 single with his current hit, “Lights Come On.

Celebrating quite the successful year, the ACM Entertainer of the Year took to Twitter to thank fans for their support on his latest single for getting it to the top of the charts.

“Thank you fans and Country Radio for making ‘Lights Come On’ my seventeenth #1 this week!!! This feeling never gets old,” he wrote in utter excitement.

It’s only in good spirits that Aldean also decided to announce the album title and its release date in the midst of his 17th No. 1 news. His much-anticipated new album will be called They Don’t Know will be released this fall, on September 9.

“I really wanted to start this new album with one of those big up-tempos,” Aldean said via press release. “So, for it to click right away with fans and radio is a really cool way to start. With all the records we’ve done, we’ve been able to explore new sounds and really just do things our own way, and that’s sort of what the title track is all about.”

If the September 9 date sounds familiar to fans, it’s because one of Aldean’s Fenway shows just so happens to coincide with the release date for the album. On that Friday night, Aldean will be in Boston performing for thousands and thousands of fans as one of the stops on his Six String Circus Tour. The tour has been hitting cities throughout the summer and will continue until October 1. Supporting acts for Aldean include Thomas Rhett and A Thousand Horses.

They Don’t Know is available for preorder on iTunes now.
