Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan Among Performers at 10th Annual ACM Honors

Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan Among Performers at 10th Annual ACM Honors

Superstars Jason Aldean, Kelsea Ballerini, Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan, Cam, Maren Morris, Cole Swindell, Keith Urban and Lady Antebellum are all slated to perform at this year’s 10th Annual ACM Honors event held in Nashville.

The event is dedicated to honoring the off-camera category winners from the 51st Academy of Country Music Awards, as well as special honorees. This year’s Special Awards honorees include Glen Campbell, Crystal Gayle, Eddie Rabbitt (awarded posthumously), Tanya Tucker, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Jeff Walker (awarded posthumously), Jimmy Webb, Little Big Town and The Statler Brothers. Studio Recording Awards recipients include Jim ‘Moose’ Brown, Dave Cobb, Shannon Forrest, Paul Franklin, Justin Niebank, Danny Rader, Michael Rhodes and Derek Wells. Additionally, Ross Copperman will be honored as Songwriter of the Year.

Aldean will also be honored with the Academy’s Triple Crown Award. The award is given to those who have won New Male/Female Vocalist of the Year, Male/Female Vocalist of the Year and Entertainer of the Year. He previously won New Male Vocalist of the Year in 2005, Male Vocalist of the Year from 2012-2014 and is the current reigning Entertainer of the Year. Previous Triple Crown Award winners include Brooks & Dunn (2005), Kenny Chesney (2005), Mickey Gilley (2005), Merle Haggard (2005), Barbara Mandrell (2005) and Carrie Underwood (2009).

The ceremony, hosted by Lady Antebellum, will be held at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium on Tuesday, Aug. 30 and will broadcast for the first time on television at a later date on CBS. It will be produced for television by dick clark productions.
