The accomplishments keep coming to Jason Aldean, especially after his latest album hit the No. 1 spot in a big way.

Aldean notched the top spot on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart, which covers all genres within the music world, for his work on Rearview Town. Marking the fourth consecutive time to reach that position for his albums, the star is only the second country singer in history to achieve such success.

The album itself sold 183,000 units total for its first week of release, which also translates over to the biggest record release by a country artist this year.

It’s probably safe to say that Aldean is riding on quite a high at the moment with everything going on in his life, including his recent win for Entertainer of the Year at the ACM Awards. Third time was most definitely a charm by taking that trophy home yet again for his dedication to his career.

Even the future looks bright for Aldean with the High Noon Neon Tour continuing to hit cities all throughout the summer, including a huge date lined up at the new Atlanta Braves stadium. Fans will get to hear Rearview Town along with some old favorites at the shows, just how Aldean pictured it while in the studio making the album.

“I love going and playing the new songs. We’ve been working on this album for a year or more, and so when you finally get a chance to put it out there and people check it out, it’s exciting for us. I’m excited to be able to play it for ‘em,” Aldean explained in a recent interview.

Rearview Town is out everywhere now.
