Jason Aldean Optimistic About Georgia Bulldogs’ 2016 Football Season

It’s that time of year again… college football is back! Fans have chosen their teams and the trash talking has begun. Longtime University of Georgia fan Jason Aldean is pumped for a high-octane season and is optimistic (and realistic) about his expectations for the team.

“We’re always optimistic when the season starts, until you get about halfway through,” Aldean recently told Sounds Like Nashville and several other media outlets. “For us, it’s usually about the time we play Florida when it all goes out the window, but I’m a huge Georgia Bulldog fan, and I’m much more into college football than I am NFL. We got a new coach, and I don’t know, some new life over that Georgia, so it’s going to be fun to watch.”

With his early optimism, Aldean has some high hopes for his new coach and budding team.

“It might take a couple years for us to really get rolling, but that’s the beauty of the season starting is anything could happen,” he explained. “Whoever is ranked number one doesn’t always stay there, so we’ll see, but I think it will be a fun year if nothing else.”

The fun has already started for the Georgia Bulldogs, who are currently 3-0. The team will take on Ole Miss on Saturday.
