Jennifer Nettles Injured After Stage Fall
During a recent appearance at a Time Inc. event, Nettles tripped over an elaborate light fixture on her way to take the stage and caused her to break her rib and obtain a few bangs and bruises.
Country singer Jennifer Nettles is recovering in due time after suffering serious injuries as a result of a recent stage fall.
During a recent appearance at a Time Inc. event, Nettles tripped over an elaborate light fixture on her way to take the stage and caused her to break her rib and obtain a few bangs and bruises, the NY Post reports. Although she reassured fans she was ok via Twitter, the incident still required great medical attention to take care of the clumsy accident.

“Hi loves. Thanks for all your kind wishes. Broken rib and banged up, but grateful. Maybe slowly moving for a bit. But I’ll rally,” she wrote to her followers on the social media app.
After confirming the severity of her injuries in a simple tweet, the singer also sent a massive shout out to all of the medical attendants that helped her out during her time of need.

Nettles will taking a little rest time off now to fully gain her strength back and make sure her rib is completely healed before returning to the stage. While she didn’t announce any cancellations of events within the next few weeks, fans can be sure that Nettles will be taking it easy and just relaxing in order to get her body back on top.
