Attention: Jimmy Fallon and Adam Sandler just made the troops feel right at home with a couple laughs during Fleet Week.

Honoring those who serve the country during New York’s Fleet Week, the Tonight Show host always invites some of the military men and women to catch one of his late night shows during the week. On Wednesday night (5/25), Fallon did not disappoint those uniformed men and women as he and Sandler performed their own semi-patriotic rendition of Garth Brooks’ “Friends in Low Places.”

While the two comedians channeled the country superstar in their tones and twangs, they switched out some of the lyrics for their own, even going so far to rename the song to “Friends on All Bases.” The military audience laughed and clapped their way through the tune as Fallon and Sandler sang lines such as, “Now you’re back in town/keeping us safe and sound/from that crazy-ass Elmo in Times Square,” and “Now you’re all brave and strong/I dedicate this song/to those who serve us day and night/and you’re good-looking too/and if I saw you/on Tinder, you know I’d swipe right.”

Even Brooks couldn’t help but salute Fallon and Sandler for their comedy kicks by posting the hilarious video to his Facebook page with a message reading, “This is HILARIOUS!!!!!”

With Memorial Day coming up this weekend, the funny cover of the hit country classic was the perfect way for Fallon and Co. to honor the troops and make them feel happy to be safe at their true home base. Check out the silly song from the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon below.
