John Carter Cash and Wife Expecting Baby Girl
The new addition will be the couple's first child together, but join John’s older children from previous marriages.
It’s a girl for the Cash clan!
The only son of Johnny Cash and June Carter is expecting a daughter with his wife this fall. John Carter Cash and his wife Ana Cristina will welcome their first child together in September, the singer/songwriter’s rep confirmed to PEOPLE.
“My wife Ana Cristina and I are so blessed to announce a new addition to our family,” said John, 47. “We are grateful to all of our friends and family for their continued support.”
“We are so thrilled that God is blessing us with a precious little girl. My husband John Carter and I are completely over the moon about the news and we can’t wait for the arrival of our baby daughter,” added Ana.
In an adorable gender reveal video, the couple sliced into a cake covered in pink and blue flowers. “It’s a girl” the couple shout after seeing the pink icing on the inside.
John and Ana were married in Charleston, SC in October 2016. The new addition will be their first child together, but join John’s older children from previous marriages: Ezra, 11, AnnaBelle, 15, and Joseph John, 21.
