Jon Pardi’s ‘California Sunrise’ Tops the Billboard Country Albums Chart
Pardi will celebrate his chart-topping record in his home state of California with back-to-back sold out shows.
Jon Pardi is sitting on top of the Billboard Country Albums chart this week with his brand new album California Sunrise.
The project, which features his current Top 10 hit “Head Over Boots,” sold nearly 24,000 copies in its first week. The 12-song release cements his long-standing admiration for the country music classics by sticking to his more traditional sound.
“I think we made the best record we possibly could with a team effort and I’m proud of every song on this record. I’m just sky high right now,” Pardi told Sounds Like Nashville prior to its release. “It kinda represents where I’m from, but also brings a whole ‘this is what I wanna sing, this is what I wanna sound like, this is where I’m at in my career right now,’ he explained. “I just thought ‘California Sunrise,’ if you haven’t been, you need to see it and you need to listen to this record.”
