After Jordan Davis stole the hearts of many country listeners with his No.1 debut, “Singles You Up,” he’s ready to keep trucking along with his career by releasing “Take It From Me” as his second song to radio.

Thinking about the summertime and following the traditional upbeat feel of the season, Davis rocks it hard while flirting along the guitar line throughout the single. The Louisiana native also wanted to make the fans learn the words to the “Take It From Me” to turn the track into a massive dance party during his live sets later this year.

“When it came to kicking off the record, there wasn’t a better song than ‘Take It From Me,’” Davis said in a press release about the track. “I think it’s a great introduction to what Home State is and I’m excited for fans to hear it out on the road this summer.”

The ladder of success for Davis continues to grow higher and higher, with his debut album becoming the highest-selling debut album from a solo country artist this year as well as earning his first time at the No. 1 radio spot with “Singles You Up.” He also notched an opening slot on Jake Owen’s Life’s Whatcha Make It Tour, where Davis will be performing at minor league stadiums across the country.

“Take It From Me” is featured on Davis’ debut, Home State, which can be streamed or purchased at this time.
