The first time is a moment that no artist can ever forget once they have it, and now Jordan Davis knows how it feels to earn that top spot on the radio charts after “Singles You Up” went No. 1.

It may have taken what felt like countless weeks to reach the top position, but Davis can sigh out a breath of relief now that his single turned itself into a hit. Not only did “Singles You Up” do incredibly well on the radio countdowns, but the song also gained a great group of listeners through Spotify, in which it amassed more than 120 million streams worldwide.

Knowing how thrilling the moment is for Davis in his career, he specifically thanked the fans for allowing him to follow his dream and letting him live out the best year he could have ever imagined.

“From the bottom of my heart, I’m so grateful to the fans, country radio and everyone who helped make ‘Singles You Up’ the number one song in the country,” Davis said in a press release. “Thank you for making this past year the best year of my life.”

Fans will be able to hear the song live when Davis heads out with Jake Owen on the Life’s Whatcha Make It Tour this summer. They’ll be adventuring to minor league baseball stadiums throughout the country, making for quite the exciting season ahead for Davis.

“Singles You Up” comes off of Davis’ debut release, Home State, which is out everywhere now.
