Josh Abbott Band's Josh Abbott is ready to take a walk down the aisle after proposing to girlfriend Taylor with help from their daughter.
She said yes! Congratulations to Josh Abbott Band front man Josh Abbott on his recent engagement to girlfriend Taylor Parnell.
Abbott shared the exciting news with three photos posted to Instagram. “Good news! She said yes,” he wrote with a heart emoji. The singer put a ring on it with help from the couple’s two-month-old baby girl, Emery, who sported a onesie that read “Mommy, will you marry Daddy?” The ring was strategically placed next to the little girl as she laid on giant stuffed bear.
2017 has already been a year of new beginnings for the couple as they embarked on parenthood together when Emery Farryn joined the world on May 5. Her name, the couple shared, means “brave adventure.”
“We wanted to do something similar with a girl name to how my brother named his daughter Eisley Dawn, which means ‘Cheerful Beginnings,’” the country star told PEOPLE upon her arrival. “And the word ‘brave’ is a word I used to describe Taylor in a song I wrote for her, ‘I’m Your Only Flaw,’ on the new album coming out this year.”
No word yet on when the couple will say “I do,” one we’re sure they’ll soak in this time as a growing family together.
