"We have more help than we need at times, but it's fun, it's fun,” Moore told Sounds Like Nashville with a smile.

After welcoming three beautiful little girls into the world, Justin Moore and his wife Kate are now the proud parents to one lucky little boy, Thomas South, born June 11. Up until his arrival, however, the parents did not know what to expect. One thing’s for certain… they’d have had a revolt on their hands from their daughters if they brought home a fourth girl.

“We were asking each of them if they wanted a little brother or a little sister. Ella said, ‘if it’s a girl, I will never talk to it, I will never hold it, I don’t even wanna see it.’ And so Kate was going, ‘Well, it very well may be a girl. You’re a girl. What if we would’ve thought that about you?’ And she was like ‘I don’t care I don’t want another one.’ Needless to say, she wants a little brother,” Moore joked at the time.

Thankfully for Ella, she got what she wanted in her baby brother. The magic hasn’t worn off since June as South’s big sisters are all hands on deck.

“They’re excited because he’s a boy and they’ve been great with him, they really are. We have more help than we need at times, but it’s fun, it’s fun,” Moore told Sounds Like Nashville with a smile. “Even as young as he is you see them developing relationships. Especially for me because I’m an only child, so I’m living in world that is the complete opposite of what I did growing up. It’s fun for me to kind of sit back and watch.”

As for the father-son relationship between Moore and his mini-me? He jokes that it’s still a work in progress and that mom comes first in South’s eyes.

“He’s definitely not as well behaved for me as he is for his mother, but I’m still a mama’s boy and I’m 33, almost 34, so yeah… it’s been fun to see the family dynamic change, because we were the couple that had nothing but girls and girl’s stuff and dolls and pink and all.”’

While Moore builds his relationship with his son, he’ll maintain the one he’s built with fans over the years as he continues forward with his Hell On A Highway Tour. Featuring special guest, Dylan Scott, the tour will run from now through April 2018.
